I have some good news! Hubby and I are now proud customers of Wild Blue Satellite internet. It only took 6 hours for the installer to get us set up, but we are finally up and running! Yay!!! This means I can blog regularly and not have to try and hijack internet service from neighbors, hotels, coffee shops, and work!
Since I was at home all day yesterday babysitting the Wild Blue installer, I was able to get a couple of projects finished. I am totally in love with the Carousel Notes out of the Occasions Mini Catalog - I love the scalloped circles, I love the colors, and I especially love the Chocolate Chip envelopes. I found a layout very similar to this one on Splitcoast. The OP used the greeting that coordinates with this stamp set on her card. When I CASE'd her project, I decided to switch up the greetings a bit. The sample of the left uses the Mother's Day greeting from the All Holidays stamp set and the sample on the right uses one of the definitions from the Define Your Life stamp set. (The "My Dear, Kind, and Wonderful Friend" stamp from the All Holidays stamp set also looks fabulous with the Carousel Notes and this layout - I did a couple of those last week for some friends that were a bit down in the dumps)
I sure hope that a version of the Carousel Notes make the Fall-Winter catalog in July (they'd have to be different colors, since these will retire at the end of June)...in the meantime, I think I'll be stocking up on these!
