Jersey Shore Baby

One of my best friends from high school and college just had a little baby boy last week, so I needed a quick card to drop in the mail! Since it seems like everyone is having boys lately (except for me!!) I went ahead and made a couple of these cards so I could have them on hand when the big day arrives.

Wild Wasabi is my favorite In Color 2008 color and I will miss it dearly when it retires this summer. The Jersey Shore patterned paper features Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie, and Brilliant Blue for a variety of fun patterns and designs. I used two of the designs for the background of this card. Then I stamp the elephant from the Wild About You stamp set with Bashful Blue Classic Stampin' Pad and the small little birdie with Wild Wasabi Classic Stampn' Pad. I wanted to accent with a bit of Brilliant Blue, so I matted the main image with Brilliant Blue cardstock and I stamped the "twinkle, twinkle" greeting from Small Sayings with the Brilliant Blue Classic Stampin' Pad.
